Hello.. I am Bethany! Here is a little about me… I am 21 years old and currently a junior at American University in Washington, DC majoring in international relations. I am originally from a small town of about 500 people in southern New Jersey called Shiloh. Shiloh consists of a post office, a store, a church, and a blinker light. I am part of a family of six with two older brothers and one younger sister. My dad is a Seventh Day Baptist pastor and my mom is a music teacher at two elementary schhols near by.
I have inherited many qualities from my parents including musical abilities and a heart for missions. I play the flute and piccolo (currently working on guitar) and I have been on a number of mission trips. I joke that both music and missions are in my blood! I enjoy learning other languages and I am currently working on mastering my Spanish! (Me encanta este idioma!) I also enjoy reading, running, playing sports, and eating good food (hehe who doesn’t?). I love to travel and learn about the world and the people in it.
I guess that is about it for now! Facebook me! 🙂

  1. Hey!

Do you prefer to go by Beth or Bethany?

Will you be bringing along a guitar on the trip? I plan on bringing one, but haven’t decided on which one. I have 2 acoustics, 1 really really cheap and the other really realy expensive…but I think I’m gonna bring a mid-level acoustic that I have yet to buy :-/ just because of traveling security issues and all that.

And lastly, I look forward to you and Isaac bringing maturity to our young team! 🙂
